Billiard Accessories

Whether you're enjoying billiard, pool, or snooker, there are several billiard accessories that can make your gaming room a bit more comfortable, stylish, and fun to be in.

Usually, visibility is an issue when it comes to the pool or billiards table, so you're billiard light is going to be an important aspect. There are a variety of different designs that are available from those that are advertising beer and wine, to those of beautiful stained glass. Remember, locating your billiard light above the billiard table works well for visibility, but it can also get knocked around, so make sure you have a protective rim around your billiard light. The normal distance between the billiard table and the billiard light is approximately 3 feet, but you can raise it higher is you need to.

Along with the billiard light, comes a billiard cue stick rack. These can be made from wood, and are rarely made from metal unless they have protective padding on the clips. You can purchase beautiful wood billiard cue racks easily online and find the exact design you're looking for. They range from holding three billiards sticks, those that can hold up to 12 or more. It might be easier to get two smaller racks than it would to find an area in your gaming room that will hold a longer rack.

Of course, you'll need a supplier for your chalk and cue tips, as well as a brush for cleaning the table, perhaps wood preservative, and cases to store your cue sticks. You may also want to find ball racks, as well as racking equipment. All of these supplies apply directly to the game of snooker's, billiards, and pool and while necessary pieces of equipment, getting your game room comfortable is another matter.

You may want to find a few table and chairs that fits anywhere from two to four people and surround your billiards table with them. You'll also need coasters for cold drinks, perhaps a small refrigerator in your game room, and a cupboard to store snacks.

While you may not want to purchase a bunch of used equipment for the actual game, you may want to furnish your game room with used furniture and lighting. Actively seek out those garage sales, flea markets, and secondhand stores that carry a variety of different types of furniture or lighting sources. You never know when you're going to find wonderful art work, pool lights, small tables and chairs, and even couches or love seats for your billiards room.

Enjoy setting up your billiard room in as comfortable and conveniently as possible. Make sure you have all the right billiard accessories, locate a good supply store, and then shop your secondhand stores for the rest of your furniture and artwork for your billiards room.
